Outrank Rules
The Outrank board is a bid-to-rank leaderboard. The ranking is exactly what people bid, nothing else. These rules cover how bidding works and what can be listed.
1Ranking
A listing's rank equals its active total: the sum of all its paid, unexpired bids. Bids stack. A new bid always adds on top of what the listing already has live; it never replaces earlier bids, so outranking someone only costs the difference. Higher active total ranks higher. On an exact tie, the listing whose latest paid bid came earlier stays ahead, so passing someone always requires strictly more active dollars.
Passing any row below #1 takes $1 more than that row's active total. Taking #1 is the exception: your total has to land at least $5 above the current top. Amounts that would leave you in between are refused, and two people can pay the take-#1 price at the same time, in which case the later payment lands second.
Example: the leader holds $120 and your listing already has $20 active. A $105 bid takes #1, because $20 + $105 = $125, clearing the leader by $5.
No algorithm: upvotes, traffic, and ratings play no role on this board. Money in, rank out.
2Bids and expiry
- Bids stack: every paid bid adds to your listing's active total. Earlier bids keep counting until they expire.
- Each paid bid counts toward your rank for 30 days from its payment, then that bid expires and your active total drops by its amount.
- A listing whose active total decays to $0 leaves the board until its owner bids again.
- We email you about 7 days before a bid expires so you can top up.
- Unpaid checkouts are cancelled after 24 hours.
3Pricing
- The first bid on a listing is at least $5.
- Every bid after that is at least $1, so each raise moves the board by at least $1. If a listing decays to $0, the $5 first-bid floor applies again.
- Every "Outrank" price on the board is the cheapest bid that passes that row: $1 past its active total, or $5 past the current top when that row is #1.
- Taking #1 requires landing at least $5 above the top total of every other listing.
- A single checkout is capped at $10,000.
- Whole dollars only. No promo codes on this product.
4No refunds
Bids are non-refundable. Being outranked, a bid expiring, or deleting your listing is not a refund event. A listing removed for breaking these rules is not refunded either.
5Listings and ownership
- A listing belongs to the account that created it. Only the owner can bid on it, edit it, or delete it.
- The same URL can be listed more than once, by the same or different accounts. Every listing is separate, with its own bids, rank, and analytics.
- The "Outrank" button on someone else's row lets you top up one of your existing listings or start a new one, priced to pass that row.
- You can edit your listing's name, tagline, and logo at any time. Edits are screened the same way as new listings.
- You can delete your listing at any time. It leaves the board immediately, remaining bid time is forfeited, and you can revive it later by bidding again.
6Prohibited content and enforcement
Listings must be real software products or tools with a working website. We reject or remove:
- Adult content and gambling
- Chat invite links (Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, and similar) and URL shorteners
- Scams, deceptive offers, and anything illegal
- Pages that are not a product at all
The platform-wide prohibited product categories from our Terms of Service apply on the Outrank board as well.
Enforcement: new listings and edits are screened automatically and flagged ones are reviewed by a moderator. We may hide or ban a listing that breaks these rules at any time, and a banned URL cannot be listed again.
7Links and tracking
Board links open your website directly and always carry rel="sponsored nofollow". Impression and click counts are best-effort: repeated views from the same visitor are deduplicated, and no count is guaranteed to be exact.
Every listing comes with a detailed analytics dashboard for its owner: impressions and clicks over time, split by placement, an audience breakdown (humans, search engine crawlers, AI assistants), and top countries.
