Each product has a score that drives ranking across feeds, trending, and recommendations. It blends several signals so quality, engagement, and recency all matter.

- PointsPeerPush Points earned by engaging with other products, with diminishing returns at very high totals so long tenure doesn't outweigh quality
- RatingsProducts with many high ratings rank above those with a few reviews; tiny samples don't dominate
- Click‑throughProducts visitors actually click through to get a small boost; low‑traffic spikes are ignored
- FreshnessRecently launched, edited, relaunched, or with a fresh changelog post stay at full strength; long‑dormant products gradually fade
- BadgesTrending, Product of the Day/Week/Month
🛡️ Anti‑gaming: Each signal is bounded so no single source can dominate the score, and small sample sizes are pulled toward the platform baseline before they count.
5Award Periods & Cutoff Times
Products compete for badges during specific time periods. Awards are determined at midnight UTC:
- DailyProduct of the Day awarded to top product
- WeeklyProduct of the Week awarded at week end
- MonthlyProduct of the Month awarded at month end
