This sounds like a very good app for my mother who waits for me to switch the hdmi every afternoon so that she can watch TV.

Looks like a practical app specially when power cut annoys you. Wondering how was this never caught by android themselves.
Its such a nice Idea to a problem google should have solved in the first place!
I finally wanted a solution like this for my TV, we use Apple TV on out TCL tv too and my parents get stuck on homescreen after the tv turns on and I have to talk to them and explain them how to change to HDMI every time, on call. Its soo annoying to do on call as its difficult for them to understand. AutoHDMI can help here
Wow, how do you make the app control the HDMI? Does it work on startup?
We use this app already on our tv. It helps us a lot to get to HDMI after power cuts

I tried a lot of apps like this but nothing seemd to work, except this! Autohdmi is the only app that is working right now!

Power cuts made my Google TV start to the home screen and not HDMI, which was especially confusing for my family. I made AutoHDMI to fix this automatically, and I hope it helps others too!
