About bury.lol

bury.lol is the internet's graveyard — a pixel-art cemetery where anything that ended gets a permanent grave: your sleep schedule, a dead side project, the group chat that went quiet, an app that shut down, a version of you. $2 digs a grave. Your title, epitaph and dates are carved into a pixel headstone in a live preview as you type, and the page goes up instantly at its own permanent link — no account needed. Visitors pay respects for free (press R) or leave $1 flowers and candles that carry their name forever. Every grave comes with a shareable 4:5 memorial card drawn by the same renderer as the site itself, so nothing ever mismatches. Under the hood: one Cloudflare Worker + D1, no frameworks, no build step; payments via Polar as merchant of record. A joke product with completely serious plumbing — and the graves really are permanent.

This is wonderfully quirky. Turning everything from abandoned side projects to lost sleep schedules into permanent pixel-art memorials is a fun idea, and the flowers, candles and shareable memorial cards take the concept much further than the joke initially suggests.

Maker here 🪦 Built solo on Cloudflare Workers — no framework, no build step; one pixel renderer draws the whole site and its share cards. Bury something you've been meaning to let go.
