About Collectors.place

Collectors.place is a SaaS platform that helps collectors organize, document, and showcase their collections in one structured and secure place. Instead of juggling spreadsheets, scattered photos, and paper receipts, collectors can manage everything connected to each item in a single digital system. What you can do: -) Add and organize collectibles with custom fields -) Upload and manage photos, receipts, certificates, and related documents -) Keep all item-related information connected in one place -) Use tags and categories for flexible organization -) Showcase your collection through a clean public profile To make adding items faster and easier, collectors.place uses AI to help generate item details automatically. Instead of manually filling out every field, the system can assist in structuring and completing object information — saving time and reducing friction. Whether you collect fossils, trading cards, figures, sneakers, models, or vintage items, Collectors.place gives you clarity and structure without unnecessary complexity. The platform is currently in active development and built with direct input from early users.

Provenance Tracking is Now Live on Collectors.place

Every collectible has a story. Now you can document it. We're excited to introduce Provenance — a new feature in Collectors.place that helps you track and visualize the complete history of your collection items. With Provenance, you can record and manage key events throughout an item's lifecycle, including: Finds & Discoveries Document where and when an item was found, along with finder details. Location Checks Keep track of inventory audits, sightings, and verification events. Exhibitions & Loans Record exhibitions, loan periods, institutions, and exhibition details. Transfers & Loans Out Track who currently has an item and where it is located. Preparation & Conservation Maintain a complete record of preparation, restoration, and conservation work. Complete Historical Timeline All events are displayed in a clear chronological timeline, creating a transparent and searchable history for every object in your collection. Whether you're managing fossils, minerals, artworks, historical artifacts, or private collections, Provenance helps preserve the context and history that make every item unique.

Collection management is a genuinely underserved space. Most collectors end up in spreadsheets or notes apps. Having a proper system built specifically for this is overdue.
