Drefly for teams, AI transcripts and translation for customer recordings
Hey PeerPush, I'm Naeem Ahmed, solo developer at Drefly. developer.drefly.pro is our recording and AI toolkit built for companies, customer calls, support sessions, bug reports, demos, and onboarding. Recording and AI processing shouldn't cost money, shouldn't have limits, and your customer's recordings shouldn't be locked into someone else's storage by default. developer.drefly.pro runs the same on-device AI engine as our personal tool, wired for teams, and you can connect your own S3 compatible storage bucket so recordings save directly there, not stuck in ours. What you get: Record and Video Tools: record customer sessions, support calls, or bug reports directly, nothing to install AI Tools: transcript, summary, chapters, and translation into dozens of languages for every customer recording, plus a scan that reads what's on screen, not just what's said Sharing: share any recording with a PIN, choose exactly which AI insights to include, viewers can comment with pinning and reporting, comments sync in real time between the customer and your team Download: pull recordings in up to 4K, in MP4, MOV, MKV, FLV, AVI, WEBM, or GIF Storage: connect your own bucket (S3 compatible, region, access key), recordings save straight there under your control PDF Tools: create and edit PDFs tied to the same recordings, no separate app This is the same feature set as record.drefly.pro, just built around company and customer workflows. No payment wall, no limits, no separate pricing tier for the business version. More on how we think about this at blog.drefly.pro. Try it: developer.drefly.pro

Drefly, record your screen and let AI do the transcript, summary, translation, and more
Hey PeerPush, I'm Naeem Ahmed, the main developer behind Drefly. We launched today at record.drefly.pro and wanted to share it here first. Drefly started as a simple idea. Recording your screen shouldn't require a bulky install, a subscription, or uploading your footage to someone else's server just to get a transcript. So we built the whole thing around AI processing happening on your device whenever possible, starting on the web today, with mobile and desktop apps already in progress. What's in the suite right now: Record and Video Tools: screen recording with audio, get started instantly at record.drefly.pro, no waiting on uploads AI Tools: on-device transcription (Whisper based), auto generated summaries, chapter markers, translation into dozens of languages, and a perception scan that reads what's actually on screen frame by frame, not just what's spoken PDF Tools: create, edit, and work with PDFs without leaving your workflow More Tools: we're adding to the suite regularly, the goal is one place for the small utilities you reach for constantly instead of ten different tabs and ten different logins A lot of people compare us to Loom, and that's fair since screen recording is where we started. The difference is what happens after you hit stop. Loom is built around hosting and sharing video. Drefly is built around what you actually need from that recording afterward, a real transcript you can search, a summary you can skim, chapters you can jump to, and translation if your audience doesn't speak the original language. And because a lot of that AI work runs on device, there's no upload wait and no sending your audio to a third party API by default. If you've been using a mix of a recorder, a separate transcription tool, and a translation tool, Drefly is trying to be the one stop instead. Would love feedback from this community.
