EbookForge is a client-side book generator that creates complete novels from your taste profile — plot architecture, AI-generated cover art, and chapter-by-chapter prose — with zero server, zero account, and zero data collection. You describe what you want to read: pick genres, place a dot on a 2D emotional axis, describe a protagonist, drop in a wildcard seed. The AI architects a full book blueprint, generates a painterly cover illustration, and writes chapters one at a time. The twist: between chapters, you inject Director's Notes — creative steering like "a sudden betrayal" or "the weather turns cold." The system rewrites the remaining chapter plan to stay coherent with your intervention, then keeps generating. Download the finished book as a typeset PDF with embedded fonts, cover art, synopsis page, and numbered table of contents. Built as a solo side project. ~2,500 lines of React + TypeScript. Your Gemini API key stays in sessionStorage and is erased when you close the tab.
