quick but important update: renamed the product from Firstpost to NNPost. turns out there's an existing Firstpost, a large news site, and staying too close to that name was a real risk for confusion and trademark issues down the line. better to fix it now, small, than later, big. NNPost keeps everything the same underneath, same Creator Kits, same workflow, same features. just a cleaner name and a new visual identity to go with it (moved to a grayscale, more premium look). sorry for any confusion if you saw the old name around, still the same project, still building every day :)

fixed some real bugs today, the kind that quietly hurt trust more than they look. found and fixed two separate multi-tab data loss bugs in Recent History, where using Firstpost in two tabs at once could make saved history disappear or get overwritten. fixed a misleading message that showed "0 viral analyses left" for Free users in a confusing way. added proper public pages for each feature, so links go to the right place instead of generic redirects. ran a full production audit after deploying: database, auth, billing, and AI all confirmed healthy on the live site. still building every day :)

this was one of the biggest Firstpost updates so far. i added a creator feedback loop, so Firstpost can learn from the ideas you save, use, and build on instead of treating every generation like a fresh start. trend research is also fresher now, and the new “build on a winner” flow lets you take something that already performed well and turn it into new angles without blindly copying it. i also finished a deep production audit and fixed issues around account isolation, privacy, reliability, and Recent History randomly disappearing. a lot of this work is behind the scenes, but the goal is simple: make Firstpost understand each creator better and become more useful every time they use it. still building every day :)

been heads down on making Firstpost feel like a real product, not just functional. cut initial load time and JavaScript size, so the app feels faster from the first second. went through the whole UI and tightened spacing, depth, hover feedback, and focus states everywhere. green is used more intentionally now instead of being on every border. also added a custom offline page. if your connection drops after using Firstpost once, you get a proper Firstpost screen instead of the browser's generic error, with a working retry. fixed a few accessibility gaps along the way too. ran the full test suite before and after every change. everything green. still building every day :)

just pushed a new Firstpost update. before, it was mostly about getting content ideas and breakdowns. now it helps more with the full creator workflow: scripts, hooks, filming guidance, editing direction, thumbnail direction, tools, sound suggestions, descriptions and why the idea works. i also polished the UI so it feels more like a real product and less like a random ai box. the goal is simple: go from “i dont know what to post” to “ok, i can actually make this.” feedback is welcome, especially if something still feels generic or ai-ish.

Firstpost got a behind-the-scenes update today. Nothing crazy visually, but a lot of important stuff was cleaned up: billing, account safety, subscription management, privacy pages, and production checks. Basically the kind of work users don’t really notice when it goes right, but definitely notice when it goes wrong. The goal is simple: make Firstpost a tool creators can actually rely on. I tightened the reliability of the main AI outputs and Viral Analysis. Generate Ideas and breakdowns now have stronger checks for duplicate hooks, repetitive ideas, weak scripts, generic hashtags, and low-quality filming guides. Viral Analysis is also stricter now. It is more careful with view counts, confidence levels, popularity claims, and avoids pretending it saw frame-level video when it only has public metadata/search context. I also added a small premium scrollbar polish to the FAQ section. This update is mostly about making Firstpost more stable, cleaner, and more trustworthy. I’m also preparing a model quality upgrade soon with a better ai model, so the outputs should keep getting better. Building every day :)

Viral analysis got a pretty big update today. It now looks deeper into a video before giving the breakdown: title, channel, public context, metadata, captions when available, and popularity signals. The result is cleaner too. It explains the hook, why the video works, what creators can learn from it, and what not to copy blindly. Still improving it, still building every day :)

Spent the last few days improving reliability and fixing generation failures. Firstpost is now much more stable than it was a week ago. My current focus is improving idea quality and making the outputs more useful for creators. Still building every day.
