FixMyFormatting is a set of 63 browser-based tools for cleaning up and converting text from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, DeepSeek and Grok. Paste an AI response and turn it into a real Word document, PDF or Google Docs page, with headings, lists and tables intact instead of raw Markdown symbols. Or clean the text itself: remove em dashes, straighten smart quotes, strip zero-width and other invisible Unicode characters, remove emoji, convert pseudo-font letters back to plain text, and repair the hard line breaks that copying from a PDF or an email leaves behind. There are data tools too: Markdown tables to Excel or CSV, JSON formatting and JSON to CSV, a token counter, a text splitter, a text diff and a word counter. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account, no sign-up and no usage limit, and your text leaves your device only if you deliberately create a share link. The site is available in 11 languages and includes reference guides on the formatting habits of AI output, such as why ChatGPT uses so many em dashes and what the invisible characters in AI text actually are.
