About Govbase

Govbase tracks every bill, executive order, and federal regulation from Congress.gov, the Federal Register, and the White House. An AI pipeline breaks each one into plain-language summaries and shows how it affects you based on your demographics, location, and interests. Each policy is tied directly to bias-rated news coverage and politician social posts on X, Bluesky, and Truth Social. Follow a single bill from the official text to how media frames it to what your representatives are saying about it. Free on web, iOS, and Android. Premium tiers at $5/mo (consumer) and $20/mo (teams). Ad-free by design, built as a public benefit corporation.

This is really interesting — especially the full-chain view from policy → media framing → public impact. Most tools stop at summarizing bills, but tying it to narratives and what representatives are saying adds a whole new layer of context.

This is a really interesting and necessary project. I love how it brings things that could feel theoretical into a more tangible view.

Built this solo over the past year while working full-time. Policy tech is new territory for me as an engineer, not a journalist. Would love feedback from the community on what's missing or broken.
