HEIC To Size

HEIC To Size converts one HEIC or HEIF photo to JPEG or PNG directly in the browser. Its Rust and WebAssembly engine can target a precise file-size ceiling from 5 to 5,000 KB, or preserve full resolution for format conversion. Images are decoded and encoded locally, with no upload, account, fee, or server-side processing. In compression mode, you enter a target from 5 to 5,000 KB and the Rust/WebAssembly engine searches image quality and, when necessary, dimensions to produce an output at or below that ceiling. Dedicated conversion pages retain the original pixel dimensions and use a high-quality JPEG or lossless PNG path instead of chasing a smaller file. Decoding, rotation, preview generation, encoding, and download all happen locally in the browser; the image is never uploaded. The project is open source under AGPL-3.0-only and can be built as a static site with its WASM package. It is free and requires no account.
