About Ironmetrics

Ironmetrics is a workout tracker designed for lifters who prioritize progressive overload. The app analyzes training history to provide smart set suggestions, including specific weight and rep targets for each session. It supports various training styles such as 5x5, 5/3/1, nSuns, and PPL, while also accounting for bodyweight-aware volume for exercises like dips and pull-ups. Features include a built-in plate calculator, offline-first logging, personal record tracking, and a configurable rest timer that functions in the background. Users can also build multi-week training programs and manage equipment availability via gym profiles.

Bring your training history with you — full CSV import from Strong and Hevy

Two releases since I launched here on Sep 4. v1.21.0 — bring your history with you. The thing that keeps lifters in a tracker they've outgrown is years of logged sets. Ironmetrics now imports a Strong or Hevy CSV in one pass — sets, reps, dates, RPE and notes all land where they belong (97 workouts in ~19 seconds). Weights convert exactly between kg and lb with nothing rounded away, dates keep their real time zone so nothing drifts a day, and any movement we don't recognise becomes your own custom exercise instead of getting dropped. Re-import the same file and nothing duplicates. It goes both ways too — export everything as CSV or JSON, free, never behind the subscription. v1.19.0 — supersets + session notes. Group any exercises and the rest timer stays quiet between partners, then fires once the round closes. Plus notes on any set or exercise mid-session, a mood and note at the finish compiled into a session review, undo for a deleted set, and History you can check without ending your workout.
