About Job Opportunities API (JOA)

Job Opportunities API (JOA) serves job postings taken straight from employers' own career sites and applicant-tracking systems, not scraped from job boards. Every field says whether the employer published it or JOA inferred it, so you decide per field what to build on. Closed roles keep their history, which makes hiring-trend and time-to-fill analysis possible. Check the data before you sign up: free keyless statistics and a browser Query Playground show coverage and freshness, and a remote MCP server lets AI agents (Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code, Cline) search postings directly. A free plan needs no card. What you get: - REST API with an OpenAPI spec: search by keyword, country, company, category and seniority - Closed postings with closure dates, and a change feed with CSV and bulk export - Company endpoint showing who is hiring and what they have open - Saved-search alerts with webhooks (beta) - Machine-readable docs: OpenAPI, llms.txt, apis.json, Markdown mirror of every docs page Links: - Website: https://jobopportunitiesapi.org - Docs: https://jobopportunitiesapi.org/docs - Integrations: https://jobopportunitiesapi.org/integrations - Free report, open access (CC BY 4.0): https://jobopportunitiesapi.org/reports/job-market-september-2026 - Report DOI: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.23143502 - Live coverage: https://jobopportunitiesapi.org/facts

Hi, I'm Luca, the maker. Every JOA field says whether the employer published it or we inferred it. Try the free statistics first, then tell me what hiring data you wish a jobs API gave you.
