About Loro planner
Planning a trip to France shouldn't take 20 hours of research across dozens of websites. But that's what most travelers face: checking attraction prices on one site, train schedules on another, hotel costs on a third, then trying to piece it all together in a spreadsheet. And after all that work, you still can't answer the most basic question: how much will this trip actually cost? LoroPlanner solves this. Pick an itinerary, and you instantly see the total cost per person — accommodation, food, transport between cities, and every attraction ticket — broken down and adjustable. Choose between hostels and 4-star hotels. Compare train versus car for each leg. See how EU citizen discounts or student tickets change the total. All before you commit to any dates or bookings. The platform covers France with 800+ attractions, 300+ ready-made itineraries across 3 regions. Content is available in 5 languages. More regions every 2 weeks. Three types of trip plans are available: City day plans — single-day walking routes within one city. For example, a full day in the Latin Quarter of Paris covering 6 attractions over 9 hours, with exact timing, walking distances, and ticket costs for each stop. Day trips — excursions from a base city involving intercity transport. Visit two Loire Valley castles from Tours in a single day, with train and taxi options compared side by side. Multi-day trips — complete vacation itineraries combining multiple day plans. A 7-day Paris trip with hotel costs by tier, daily food budgets, all transport, and every attraction ticket calculated per person. Every itinerary includes an interactive map, a minute-by-minute timeline, transport comparison per leg (train vs car vs taxi with costs and duration), and a ticket selector with multiple options including age-based and EU citizen discounts. Adjust the number of travelers, their ages, and their nationality — the total recalculates instantly. This is not a tour booking platform. LoroPlanner provides self-guided trip plans with cost estimates. There are no guided tours to buy, no bookings to make through the site. It's a planning tool that gives you the information you need to plan independently and make informed decisions about your budget. The entire platform was built by a solo developer using an AI-powered content pipeline. LoroPlanner is currently in its MVP phase, covering part of France. The next steps include a user-facing route builder so travelers can create and share their own itineraries, origin-to-destination transport calculation for door-to-door cost estimates, and eventually an AI travel guide that provides context-aware information during your trip. If you've ever spent an entire evening trying to figure out whether a week in Normandy fits your budget, this is the tool that answers that question in seconds.
