We built an app that lets people turn Google Maps lists into shareable and monetizable guides. Millions of people already save places in Google Maps restaurants, coffee shops, travel spots, bars, viewpoints, and hidden local gems. But those saved places usually stay private or get shared in messy ways like screenshots, spreadsheets, blog lists, or social media posts. Our app turns those saved locations into clean, curated maps that others can explore. Users can create maps by adding Google Maps locations and organizing them into themed guides. For example: • Best Cheap Eats in NYC • Hidden Cocktail Bars in Manhattan • Coffee Shops to Work From • Street Photography Spots • Weekend Travel Guides Instead of reading a long list, people can open a map and instantly see every recommended location in one place. They can tap into spots, read notes from the creator, and navigate directly there. The key idea is that local knowledge has real value. People spend years discovering great places in cities, and creators often build audiences around recommending them. But today there’s almost no way to package or monetize that knowledge in a simple format. Our platform allows creators to publish their maps publicly and optionally charge for premium guides. For example, a food creator might sell a curated map of the “50 Best Cheap Eats in NYC” or a traveler might publish a detailed map based itinerary for a city. This creates a new type of digital product: curated location guides built on top of Google Maps. Users get a much better way to discover places, and creators get a way to share and monetize their local expertise. We’re currently focused on onboarding early creators and testing how people use map based guides in real-world exploration and travel.
