MetaOpAI Agent Demo Completed! MetaOpAI is an AI signal intelligence platform built around a simple architectural idea: the application should own the context, not the LLM. Its typed-graph memory stores context independently of the reasoning model, allowing MetaOpAI to retrieve relevant information and route it to whichever model the user chooses. In the demo, context about an entity named Mike was created using OpenAI, then a request about Mike was sent to a completely separate local Llama model running through Ollama. The model had never seen Mike before, but still answered correctly because MetaOpAI supplied the memory. The same architecture extends to local AI agents. MetaOpAI can securely connect to models, tools, files, integrations, and MCP servers running on a user's own Mac, while controlling tool access and reducing exposure to prompt-injection and excessive permissions. The broader thesis is: The application owns the context. The user chooses the model. The user retains the artifacts. The model provides reasoning. The application provides memory. Now, MetaOpAI has completed final testing of the MetaOpAI Thin Client Agent. The beta will be available soon. Built for people running open-source models on @apple devices, the agent is signed with our Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple. It establishes a secure outbound connection to MetaOpAI's segmented backend, allowing AI reasoning to happen directly on the user’s hardware. What this means, a user on metaopai ios app, can be half way across the globe leveraging reasoning through metaopai backend routed directly to the users own macos device running in their home given network connection and device is on. #Privacy and #Security But running a model locally does not automatically make the entire system private. Imagine downloading a malicious Markdown file containing hidden instructions, such as white text on a white background. If the local model can access an MCP-connected application that recently was updated with a web search or upload capabilities, those instructions could attempt to exfiltrate private information to an external site. All your private reasoning has now been exposed through an malicious markdown file chained to an egress path via a recently updated application with new MCP tools. @NSACyber @DARPA The MetaOpAI agent is designed to make these risks visible and controllable through: Discovery of local models, MCP servers, tools, and files Visibility into every tool exposed by each MCP server Session-based permission checkout Quarantine for unapproved models, tools, and MCP servers Controls designed to informed the users of potential indirect prompt-injection and data-exfiltration risks These protections are only the beginning. Apple recently approved us for the App Store Small Business Program. We also shipped our new / command system to make historical retrieval faster and more precise: "/" = retrieval commands like /interactions, /patterns, /events. References help the AI know exactly which spaces, entities, and history to focus on. Next up: unifying the iOS mobile client and shipping soon.

** Currently working on improving the UI minor changes SaaS and IOS ** Working through hardening the backend and infrastructure. ** Android is in flight. From January 2026 to June 2026, while working full-time as a security engineer leading AI security initiatives at a global investment bank, I bootstrapped MetaOpAI from idea to near-launch. I built the full frontend SaaS, backend, Azure infrastructure, hardened Kong gateway, website, and launch presence across X, LinkedIn, Product Hunt, PeerPush, and other channels. I also forked and modified the frontend for iOS, registered the company, got the EIN, joined the Apple Developer Program, and moved the product close to App Store launch. The biggest insight I found is that AI memory is the missing layer behind many of the problems people complain about: high inference cost, hallucinations, context loss, datacenter strain, and poor long-term continuity. That became the foundation for MetaOpAI and led me to write a whitepaper around AI memory architecture.
