MirrorCV is now a proper resume workspace, not just a one-time AI resume tool
We’ve shipped a much bigger version of MirrorCV. The earlier version was simple: upload resume, add job description, see AI changes side-by-side, accept or revert them. That was useful, but it still felt like a single-use tool. This update makes MirrorCV feel more like a workspace for job applications. What’s new: • Optional login is now live You can still use MirrorCV without signing up. That part is important to me. But if you do log in, your work can now stay saved instead of disappearing after one session. • Saved resumes and cover letters Generated resumes and cover letters are now stored in your workspace, so you can come back later, review them, and download them again. • Default resume support You can save a resume as your default, so you don’t have to keep uploading the same file again and again for every job. • Cover letter generation MirrorCV now generates job-specific cover letters using the same resume + job description context. • Better editing control The AI still does not silently rewrite everything and ask you to trust it. You can review changes, accept them, revert them, and now edit more directly instead of treating the AI output as final. • New resume templates You can now generate resumes in cleaner templates instead of being locked into one basic output style. • New interface The whole product has been rebuilt with a cleaner dashboard, better resume flow, saved history, and a more complete application workflow. The idea is still the same: AI can help rewrite your resume. But you should stay in control of what changes. MirrorCV is still free to use, and signup is still optional.

Smart move going with a .com. The revert AI approach is interesting too — letting users stay in control of their resume instead of a black box rewrite builds way more trust.

This could save people a huge amount of time - great product!
The side-by-side diff is such a smart touch. Being able to tailor a resume to a job description while staying fully in control makes this feel both powerful and trustworthy.
Tailoring resumes for every job is painful, even with AI. Most tools are black boxes. MirrorCV shows clear diffs so you know exactly what changed — with more control coming soon.
