Motorbook UK

Motorbook is an iPhone app for UK drivers that keeps track of MOT, road tax and insurance dates, and finds cheaper fuel nearby. Enter a number plate and Motorbook fills in the vehicle’s details, MOT expiry and tax due date from official UK records. It then sends reminders about a month before, a week before and on the day. It also shows full MOT test history, including advisories and recorded mileage. The Nearby tab shows live petrol and diesel prices from the UK government’s Fuel Finder scheme. Stations can be sorted by cheapest, nearest or cheapest open, and each price shows when it was last updated. Drivers can save favourite stations and watch for price drops. Nearby also finds EV charge points, garages and MOT test centres, and opens directions. Other features include insurance and custom reminders, a Home Screen widget, Live Activities, Siri shortcuts and an Apple Wallet pass for each car. Motorbook needs no account. Vehicle records and reminders are stored on the device, and reminders are generated locally rather than sent from a server. Pricing: free for up to two vehicles, with MOT and tax reminders, MOT history and fuel prices. Motorbook Premium adds unlimited vehicles, a full service and cost log, a document wallet, the Apple Wallet pass, mileage trends, custom reminders and PDF vehicle reports.
