About My Finance Dash

Project Name: My Finance Dash (v21) One-liner: A pro-grade, local-first financial dashboard built into a single, portable HTML file. Description: My Finance Dash is a private-by-design financial analyzer that proves you don't need a complex cloud infrastructure to deliver high-end analytics. Built for users who value data sovereignty, it processes sensitive financial data 100% in the browser’s RAM—nothing is ever uploaded to a server. Key Technical Highlights: Architecture: Single-file HTML/JS/CSS application (Zero-server setup). Data Engine: Custom logic for parsing and categorizing bank exports (Excel/CSV) locally. Advanced Visuals: Integrated Sankey diagrams for cash flow tracking, Heatmaps for spending patterns, and interactive Chart.js dashboards. UI/UX: Modern "2026-ready" interface with Glassmorphism effects, Dark Mode optimization, and responsive sidebar navigation. Privacy First: No cookies, no tracking, and no external database. Data is volatile and disappears once the tab is closed. Tech Stack: Vanilla JavaScript, TailwindCSS, Chart.js, Google Charts (Sankey), SheetJS, and html2canvas for instant report exports.

My Finance Dash v24

In this version, I've added a button at the top that converts your money into the time it took you to earn it. Activating it will ask for your work hours and salary. This helps you understand the true value of money. I hope you like the idea. Remember that your data is always private and stored locally.
