About NeatStatement

NeatStatement turns a PDF bank statement into a spreadsheet you can actually work with. Drop the PDF in and get back an Excel or CSV file with one row per transaction and real date, description and amount columns. The parsing happens in your browser. The statement is never uploaded to a server, and that matters more here than in most conversions: a bank statement is a list of everything you bought, where and when. Most competing tools upload the file and process it on their machines. It reads the layouts of the large US banks, including Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citibank, Capital One, American Express, US Bank, PNC, TD Bank and Chime. There is a page per bank explaining what that statement looks like and where the transaction table sits, because the layouts differ enough to matter. There is also a set of guides on reading statements: what the abbreviations on the line items mean, how to request older statements a bank no longer shows online, what lenders actually look at, and how a bank statement differs from a credit card statement. Free, no account, no watermark.

A bank statement is a list of everything you bought, where and when. Every PDF-to-Excel tool asks you to upload it anyway. This one parses it in your browser instead. Free, no account.
