About Nestido

Nestido is a shared custody calendar for separated parents. It answers one question: where is each child, since when, and where do they sleep tonight. One parent is enough. Most tools in this space assume two cooperating parents who both pay. That assumption is false in most separations: one parent wants a tool, the other one just wants to know when the kids are coming. In Nestido the other parent exists in the data model as a member with no account at all. They show up in the calendar and in the statistics, children can be handed over to them, and the invitation can come later, or never. That is the nominal case, not a degraded one, and it is the decision that shaped everything else. The schedule fills itself in. You declare your custody rhythm once (alternating weeks, 2-2-3, 5-2-2-5) and the months ahead are predicted. From then on you only record what differs from the prediction. A sibling handover takes two taps. Nights are the only counter. A week is seven nights, not 168 hours: across a daylight saving transition, two identical intervals can count zero nights or one. So all arithmetic happens in the family timezone, and a night goes to whoever is hosting the child at the midnight that cuts it in half. The statistics screen gives you a number you can hand to someone. Also in it: French school holiday zones, a timeline view, CSV and PDF export, sixteen languages, and an Android app. Not in it, on purpose: no messaging between parents, no expense splitting, no health record, no court log. It is a calendar, not a case file, and it is careful never to look like evidence. Pricing. Free forever for one parent, with no time limit and no countdown. The paid plan is 2.99 EUR per month or 29.99 EUR per year, per family, both parents included whether the second one ever signs in or not. What it buys is a wider window to look back and forward through. Nothing is ever deleted, the free plan just shows less. No ads and no data resale. One click exports everything the app knows about you, and one click deletes the account for good.

A shared custody calendar that answers one simple question, where the child is, and works even when only one parent uses it is a thoughtful design. Good luck with the launch!

Built it because most co-parenting tools assume two parents who both pay. Nestido works when only one of you wants it. Free forever for one parent, sixteen languages, Android included.
