About Orbit Intelligence
Orbit is business intelligence for small businesses. It watches the market around you and turns changes into useful signals. For example: a competitor launches a new service, or a reseller tracks major retail chains for new promotions, offers, or product changes that could affect demand. Less dashboard. More “what changed, and what should I do about it?” Automate your ability to look at businesses, partners, competitors, and business-relevant digital presence to better guide your business decisions. Orbit — Business & Competitive Intelligence Orbit is a business, market, and competitive intelligence platform built to help companies understand what is changing around them—and, more importantly, what those changes mean for their business. Most competitive research is static. Teams build spreadsheets, save screenshots, read competitor websites, check pricing pages, browse social media, and periodically repeat the process. By the time someone notices an important change, the opportunity may already be gone. Orbit turns that ongoing research process into continuous intelligence. Orbit monitors the public digital signals that matter to a business, including competitor websites, product pages, pricing, positioning, messaging, announcements, and other observable changes. Instead of simply telling you that something changed, Orbit is designed to help explain the significance of the change and connect individual signals to broader strategic developments. The core idea is simple: signals become useful when they are understood in context. Orbit organizes competitive intelligence around four stages: Signal → Observation → Evaluation → Consequence. A signal is something that changed. An observation describes what happened and provides the relevant evidence. An evaluation considers why the change may matter. A consequence identifies the potential strategic implication or opportunity for the business. This distinction is important because traditional monitoring tools tend to produce alerts, not intelligence. A competitor changing a headline, adding a feature, adjusting a price, launching a new page, or changing its positioning may be interesting—but the raw change alone does not tell a team what to do about it. Orbit is designed to reduce that gap between knowing something happened and understanding what it means. With Orbit, teams can create competitor profiles and continuously monitor the companies they care about. Orbit detects meaningful changes and helps organize them into a coherent view of competitive activity over time. Historical captures provide context, allowing users to understand not only the current state of a competitor but also how its strategy, messaging, product, and market presence have evolved. Orbit is particularly useful for founders, product teams, marketers, strategists, sales teams, and business leaders who need to stay informed about competitors and markets without spending hours conducting manual research. For founders and executives, Orbit provides a lightweight way to maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and identify emerging threats or opportunities. For product teams, it can reveal changes in competitor products, features, packaging, and positioning. For marketing teams, it can surface shifts in messaging, offers, pricing, and go-to-market strategy. For sales teams, competitive intelligence can provide useful context for understanding how alternatives are evolving and how the market is being positioned. Orbit also helps businesses move beyond individual competitor tracking toward a broader understanding of their market. Competitive activity rarely happens in isolation. Several competitors may respond to the same market trend, introduce similar capabilities, reposition toward the same customer segment, or change their pricing and packaging in response to one another. By accumulating observations over time, Orbit helps teams identify patterns rather than treating every change as an isolated event. The result is a more persistent and contextual approach to competitive intelligence. Orbit is not intended to replace human strategic judgment. Instead, it handles much of the repetitive observation and organization required to maintain competitive awareness, giving people more time to evaluate implications, make decisions, and act. The platform is built around a fundamental shift in how businesses approach competitive research: from periodic research to continuous intelligence. Rather than asking, “What are our competitors doing right now?”, Orbit helps teams answer more useful questions: * What has changed? * When did it change? * How significant is the change? * What does it tell us about a competitor’s strategy? * Is this part of a larger trend? * What could it mean for our business? * Where might there be an opportunity to respond? Orbit is designed for businesses that want competitive intelligence to become an ongoing capability rather than an occasional research

Competitor and market analysis built for small business owners and founders is a practical focus, and the simple tagline makes it easy to remember. Congrats on the #1 Product of the Day!
how would this work across industries? interesting concept
Strong framing around Signal → Observation → Evaluation → Consequence. A valuable trust feature would preserve the evidence and timestamp behind each observation, while clearly separating facts from model-generated evaluation.
@contact8583 absolutely. After our next update, evidence history tracking should be exposed to end users.
@orbit-intelligence it’s all preserved now but visualization is tricky given how much data is obtained.
Competitive intelligence done right - having this visibility into market moves in real time is a game changer for GTM strategy. Smart product.
