PaidPilot

PaidPilot is a set of free paperwork tools for small businesses, freelancers and individuals. Nothing needs an account, and everything runs in your browser. The check maker lets you print checks on your own account on blank check stock. Pick one of ten designs, fill in the payee and amount, and the amount in words is written for you. You download a PDF of the front and back sized in real inches, with the check at the top, middle or bottom of the page, three to a sheet, or above a voucher stub. A printer nudge and an alignment test help line things up. It's built for people writing checks on accounts they own. The routing number is checked with the ABA checksum, and every check is watermarked SAMPLE until the number is valid and you confirm the account is yours or that you're authorized to write on it. There's no signature upload and no bank logos. Routing and account numbers are never saved and never sent anywhere. Some banks require MICR toner, so the page tells you to ask your bank and print a test check first. Alongside it are a free check register (running balance, print, or download as PDF, CSV or Excel) and a free invoice generator with your logo, tax, payment methods and an instant PDF, plus invoice templates for 20 trades, an estimate maker, a receipt maker and calculators for late fees and due dates.
