About Pebbles – Your KidCamp Planner
My friend and I recently launched FindPebbles after getting frustrated with how broken summer camp planning still is for parents. A few pain points we kept running into: - There’s no single place to search programs - Public parks & rec programs and private camps are fragmented everywhere - We had to check multiple neighboring town websites just to compare options - Many parks & rec websites feel obsolete — filtering barely works, schedules are hard to compare, and you end up manually piecing together dates/times in your head - No consolidated calendar or planning view across different camps/programs - No simple way to share plans with spouses or family members - Keeping track of spending/receipts for dependent care FSA reimbursement is surprisingly painful - It becomes exponentially harder with multiple kids Most parents we know are managing this with spreadsheets, browser tabs, screenshots, emails, and notes. So we started building Pebbles to make camp discovery and planning simpler in one place. Some of the things we’re focused on: - Aggregating camps and programs across public + private providers - Better search and filtering across towns, dates, ages, and interests - A consolidated planning view so parents can actually see their summer schedule in one place - Easier organization of registrations, dates, and costs - Sharing/planning workflows for spouses and families - Reducing the logistical overhead of coordinating multiple kids We’re still early and would genuinely love feedback from other parents/founders/builders: - Does this problem resonate? - Which features feel most valuable? - What would make this a “must-have” vs a nice-to-have? - What distribution channels would you test first? - Any thoughts on defensibility or monetization? Would appreciate honest feedback and product roastings.
