About Perpetua
Perpetua is an estate planning and administration platform that helps families and their advisors locate, organize, and resolve the online accounts tied to a person’s life. Estate settlement usually starts with the difficult question: what accounts and obligations exist? Bank accounts, insurance policies, utility bills, reoccurring subscriptions, and other services can be scattered across years of paperwork and email. Families often know about some of them, but in the With authorized access to an individual's email account, Perpetua analyzes their metadata and online presence to surface the services they created over their lifetime. It groups accounts by category and priority, then turns the findings into a personalized checklist with guidance on what may need attention, who to contact, and how to move each account toward resolution. The goal is to help users have a clear picture of what is out there and understand what to do next. Families can use Perpetua in one of two ways. Planning Mode helps people organize their own affairs before an emergency or loss. Individuals can map accounts and subscriptions tied to their life and create a practical playbook their family can use later for free. Executor Mode is designed for people settling an estate. Executors or other authorized representatives can use Perpetua to identify possible accounts and obligations, organize them in one place, prioritize follow-up, track progress, and work through institution-specific next steps. Executor Mode costs $129 as a one-time charge and includes three months of access. Perpetua is also built for trust and estate attorneys, fiduciaries, financial advisors, and wealth managers. Estate law firms can use Perpetua to reduce non-legal administrative work by giving clients automated account discovery and a guided settlement workflow while giving the firm visibility across open matters. Teams can see where each estate stands and which accounts still need attention. For financial advisors and wealth managers, Perpetua helps surface financial relationships that may sit outside existing aggregation tools or the advisor’s current view of the household. By surfacing other employer benefits, retirement plans, and brokerage accounts into the advisor's purview, they can more holistically balance their risk and more tailored advice. Perpetua is different from a password manager. While password managers help answer “How do I get into an account?,” Perpetua is built to help answer the question that often comes first: “What accounts are out there?” It also goes beyond a generic estate planning checklist because discovery and organization are tied to the accounts and institutions surfaced. We know that connecting to your email requires a lot of trust. We deliberately designed Perpetua to work with limited access, and our approach has been independently certified by Google’s cloud security assessors. The contents of your emails and attachments always remain private, and we only use the basic metadata needed to identify what may be relevant to you and your family. That constraint also means we may miss things we could find with broader access. We think that’s the right tradeoff, and we’d genuinely like to hear where you disagree. We hope you don’t need Perpetua for a long time. But the best time to plan is long before your family needs it. In about 20 minutes, you can create your personalized playbook to print and share with someone you trust. **Best for:** estate planning, estate administration, executors, probate preparation, account discovery, asset discovery, subscription discovery, financial account discovery, estate settlement checklists, online account cleanup, trust and estate practices, fiduciaries, financial advisors, wealth managers, surviving family members, trustees, and people organizing their affairs before a crisis or reconstructing a loved one’s financial and online life after a loss.
