About Recall: Vocabulary Trainer

Recall is an AI-native vocabulary trainer for learners who want to go beyond the basics and build the vocabulary needed for serious progress. Unlike traditional language-learning apps built around predefined lessons, Recall starts with the words that matter to you. Scan your own textbooks, wordbooks, handouts, or notes, and Recall turns them into personalized vocabulary sets in seconds — making it especially useful for exam preparation, academic study, professional English, or anyone aiming for next-level fluency. Recall supports multiple languages, including English, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, French, and German, so learners can build vocabulary around their own goals rather than follow a fixed course. Using spaced repetition, Recall brings words back when your memory needs them most. Voca Reels make quick reviews feel lightweight and natural, while context-based practice helps you understand how words are actually used instead of simply memorizing translations. And studying doesn’t have to begin by opening the app. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets surface vocabulary throughout the day, while Memory Alarms send interactive review notifications that let you answer, reveal the answer, or review later — turning otherwise empty moments into opportunities to strengthen your memory. Recall isn’t trying to replace beginner language courses. It’s built for learners who already know that reaching the next level — whether for exams, university, work, or advanced fluency — requires a much stronger vocabulary. The result is less time making flashcards, less effort remembering to study, and a more systematic way to turn the words you encounter into vocabulary you actually retain.

Feels like a second brain for my vocabulary. I love that I can keep studying words throughout the day with the widgets and memory alarms, even without opening the app. Super useful overall and the best vocab apps ever

Interactive reminders that let you answer or defer without opening the app are a useful detail. Making the study set come from a learner's own notes should also make those reminders more relevant.

Turning my own reading materials into cards is exactly what generic vocab apps miss. Does it handle phrases, not just single words?
