About Recap Raven
Recap Raven is a Discord-native recap and campaign memory tool for tabletop RPG groups. It joins your Discord voice session with consent, records and transcribes the game, then turns the messy table talk into useful campaign material: • polished player-safe recaps that are easy to share direct in Discord after the session • private GM notes + feedback kept separate from player-facing content • campaign Q&A AI directly in Discord for both players and GMs • transcript-backed answers with quotes/citations to keep your canon accurate • missed-session catchups for absent players • open hooks and next-session prep notes • GM feedback and session stats like spotlight balance, table energy, and participation The goal is simple: help online TTRPG groups remember what happened without forcing the GM to write notes during play or maintain a campaign wiki afterwards. Recap Raven is built for DMs/GMs running long campaigns over Discord voice, especially D&D, Pathfinder, and other ongoing tabletop RPGs where continuity matters. Players can ask questions like “what happened with that NPC?” or “what did we learn about the shrine?” and get answers grounded in the session transcript rather than vague AI guesses. For GMs, Recap Raven provides private post-session support: what hooks are still open, which players had spotlight, what the table seemed to engage with, and what might be useful to prep next. Player-safe and GM-only information stay separate. Useful for: • online D&D and TTRPG campaigns • Discord voice sessions • session recaps • missed-player catchups • campaign continuity • GM prep • table feedback • transcript-backed campaign memory Audio is deleted after transcription, and campaign answers include source quotes so the table can check what was actually said. Recap Raven is currently looking for users running real online TTRPG campaigns.

The player-safe vs GM-private split is the whole product - one leaked twist and a table stops trusting it. How do you decide what counts as secret when the transcript contains everything? GM tagging, or does the model guess?
@parthdixit Great comment. We have a specific citation guardrail to not have the LLM infer anything players havn't figured out yet. I.e. GM could hint someone is a lich, but unless a player says "I think he's a lich" that's not player safe.
Recap Raven helps online tabletop RPG groups who play on Discord remember what happened. I use this in my own campaign to help me keep track and stay more in the moment during sessions.
