Redbrix is a browser-based MySQL front-end that lets non-technical users safely view and edit database data — no installation, no configuration, no developer tools required. Redbrix is built for two kinds of people: developers who need to give clients a simple way to manage their own data without building a bespoke admin panel from scratch, and small business owners looking to move off spreadsheets without taking on the complexity of a full database tool. Point it at an existing database and it generates a clean admin UI on top — browse records in a familiar grid view, edit them directly, and navigate linked records across related tables without touching SQL. No migration required; it works with the data and schema already present. Redbrix is currently in public beta and free to use while in this stage. Paid plans will be introduced at full launch; these will include a "pro" account including additional features and a "team" account for multiple users within a single organization. (There will remain a free tier without premium features.)

Have you tried Redbrix Beta 0.9.2 yet?
You can now define custom calculated fields on Redbrix table admin pages! This allows you to create a "pseudo-column" on a table whose value is derived from a MySQL expression. To access this feature, you need to be logged in as an admin user. Click on a table, then click the "Admin" button in the top-right corner. You will see an additional tab, "Calculated fields", in which you can create these pseudo-fields. Note that this does not change your database schema in any way -- the expressions are held in our database as metadata and are evaluated at query time.

I built Redbrix after one too many clients asking to edit their own data. It connects to your DB and gives a clean UI to browse/edit records, no SQL. In public beta — would love your feedback!
