About Scanara
Scanara is an automated EU AI Act conformity platform that enables AI system providers and deployers to assess regulatory compliance without the prohibitively expensive manual legal cycles that currently gate market access. The platform combines three complementary inputs: (1) Static code scanning that detects AI Act-relevant patterns in source repositories; (2) Policy evaluation of technical documentation; and (3) structured questionnaire assessments — including Annex III high-risk screening (AIRA), Fundamental Rights Impact Assessment (FRIA), Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA), GPAI provider, deployer, and prohibited-practice screening. From these inputs Scanara derives a risk classification across the full EU AI Act spectrum — minimal, limited, high, and prohibited risk — with dedicated support for General-Purpose AI and systemic-risk models. Results feed a compliance dossier platform: users assemble the technical documentation required under the EU AI Act (Article 11 / Annex IV and related obligations), with fields auto-populated from scan and assessment data wherever the source data permits and the remaining evidence and engineering content authored in-platform. Completed dossiers are exportable as PDF, DOCX, HTML, or Markdown for submission and audit. In addition Scanara offer merge gates and monitoring plans to remain compliant during feature development. By reducing the €50k–€200k cost of manual conformity cycles by an order of magnitude, Scanara directly advances the Digital Europe Programme's objective of lowering AI Act compliance barriers for European SMEs and strengthening trustworthy-AI infrastructure across the Union.
