Sentrychess

SentryChess is a chess review tool designed to help players understand what changed after their moves and why those changes mattered. Instead of only showing an engine evaluation or a long continuation, SentryChess combines engine-backed analysis with structured board and move analysis to create clearer, move-by-move explanations. Each reviewed move includes Move Impact metrics that show how different parts of the position changed, including areas such as mobility, pawn structure, king safety, defense, offense, weak squares and center control. The written explanation then focuses on the most relevant consequence of the move rather than presenting every technically valid observation at once. SentryChess also provides a Position Overview that summarizes the broader characteristics of the game, along with visual heatmaps for examining important squares, activity, pressure and other positional factors. Players can upload their own PGNs and review the game one move at a time. The product is mainly intended for beginner, intermediate and club-level players who can see that a move was good or bad but still want a clearer explanation of what actually changed. The public version includes three free game analyses so the complete review experience can be tested before paying.
