About ShimmerPic
ShimmerPic runs both GPT Image 2.5 models OpenAI released on September 8, 2026 — Flare, the fast default, and Sunburst, the precision model — directly in the browser. No API key, no install. New accounts get 6 free credits. Start from something that works. The library holds 531 community prompts sorted by what they produce — product shots, posters, characters, brand boards — each shown next to its actual output. Open one and the prompt text is filled in for you, then change the parts that matter: the product, the headline, the setting. Generate and refine. Pick an aspect ratio from 1:1 to 9:16, a resolution tier of 1K, 2K or 4K in Standard or High quality, and add up to three reference photos. Try Flare while exploring, switch to Sunburst for the version you keep, and edit any result by opening it as a reference and describing the change — the model follows editing instructions across multiple turns and keeps what you did not mention. Four jobs the prompt library goes deepest on: product photography (one photo in, the studio rebuilt around it), UGC-style visuals, posters and flyers with real rendered type at print resolution, and mockups placing your logo on a shirt, box, tote or wall without a template library. Flare and Sunburst cost the same credits, so the choice is speed versus detail, not price. The studio quotes the exact cost before you generate, and failed generations are refunded. There is no unlimited tier. Every result is saved privately to your creations in full resolution and is never added to the public library. You decide what to download or share.
