What SnapNutri does SnapNutri is a Brazilian nutrition app. You photograph your plate and it identifies the foods and estimates calories, protein, carbs and fat. It is built for everyday Brazilian meals - prato feito, marmita, self-service, churrasco - which are assembled on the plate and carry no barcode or nutrition label, so barcode-first trackers have little to work with. How the estimate is presented The result is shown as a range, with a portion selector, and you confirm the portion before the meal is logged. This is deliberate. Estimating food from a photo carries real uncertainty - portion size and cooking fat are not visible in an image - and a confident single number would misrepresent how well any photo-based tool can do. The app uses the TACO Brazilian food composition table as its reference for nutrient values. The estimates are informational and do not replace a nutritionist.
