SpatialBoard

Spatialboard is a React and TypeScript library for creating spatial canvases and node-board interfaces. It provides the foundational components needed to build whiteboards, visual editors, and graph-based user interfaces. Developers can use it to manage complex spatial layouts and node relationships within web applications. Install: npm install spatialboard Three package entries: spatialboard — full board UI + engine spatialboard/engine — headless (no React), for tests/agents spatialboard/blocknote — opt-in blocknote It's 0.2, early: solo maintainer, thin tests (fixing that is first on the roadmap). Comparison: tldraw is more mature and ships multiplayer; Excalidraw is the best embeddable sketch surface. SpatialBoard's angle is MIT in dev and production + data flow + presentations + SBD (a markdown board format agents can read and write) in one engine.
