About Tomi: Baby Tracker
I built Tomi after my first night home with our newborn. I downloaded the most popular baby tracker, fought with menus at 3 AM trying to log a feed, and decided I'd rather build my own than rage-uninstall again at 4. A few months later, here's where it landed: WHAT IT DOES • One-tap logging for feeds (breast left/right + bottle with ml), diapers, and sleep • Hold a button for a running timer when you want duration • Sleep can run in the background — banner stays on the Home screen with "Sleeping since 22:15 · tap to wake" • Multi-baby profiles with curated avatar palettes so twins with the same initial don't get confused • 7-day stats with breast balance and a sleep total • Full history with search and per-event detail editing WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT • No account. No cloud. Everything stays on your device with AsyncStorage. Backup/restore via the Files app if you want it. • 15 fully translated languages — auto-detects the phone locale, manual override available. EN, ES, ZH, HI, AR, PT, BN, RU, JA, DE, FR, KO, IT, TR, ID. • Custom monoline SVG icons designed for the brand. No emojis like 🤱🍼💩 — they're warm but inconsistent across OS versions and don't scale. • Free with a single unobtrusive AdMob banner. Banner hides while you're using the timer modal or have no baby created yet. No interstitials, no popups. • Calm color palette inspired by modern nursery design — cream, terracotta, sage, dusty blue. Far from the pink/baby-blue territory most baby apps live in. STACK React Native + Expo SDK 54 · AsyncStorage · react-native-svg for the icon system · i18n-js for translations · react-native-google-mobile-ads · expo-image-picker for baby photos · published with EAS Build. WHERE IT IS NOW v1 on iOS App Store, ~10 downloads (so be gentle). Android closed testing in progress. Honest feedback welcome. Especially: does your phone locale work out of the box? Anything visually weird? Anything you'd expect from a baby tracker that's missing?

First-time dad, ex-developer reflex. Existing baby trackers were either bloated SaaS dashboards or full of dark patterns. I wanted one that does feeds + diapers + sleep in one tap, lets me put my phon
