About TruTalk

TruTalk is a digital conversation ritual app that provides hand-written, research-backed prompt cards to help people skip the small talk and build deeper connections. Accessible entirely through the web without any app downloads, it is designed for couples, friends, and professional teams to use in real-world settings by opening the site on a phone and passing it around. It's designed for presence: You choose a mode (Shuffle, Date Nights, Go Deeper) and the questions gradually go from light to genuinely introspective. There are 1,000+ prompts across 14 modes, for couples, friends, families and teams.

Most conversation apps hand you questions and leave you there. TruTalk is different: every card is hand-written and neuroscience-informed, living inside a calm, intentional ritual that helps you arrive at depth instead of forcing it. I built the product because I wanted to have more meaningful conversations in a world that's designed to distract us - Have the next great conversation with a stranger or someone you care about, Happy trutalking!

Depth has an order - it needs some room, and a way to get there. Most skip straight to the deep end and it feels forced. TruTalk is about building the path: a ritual that lets people arrive at depth
