Simply take a photo of a menu, and VikSchewa helps you understand the dishes beyond a basic word-for-word translation. The app translates menus into **85 languages** and helps uncover information that may not be obvious from the name of a dish. Because sometimes, the name doesn’t tell the whole story. A vegetarian-sounding curry may contain fish sauce. A soup may be prepared with lard or meat broth. Ingredients, allergens, and other dietary details can be difficult to identify — especially when the menu is written in a language you don’t understand. VikSchewa helps make potentially hidden ingredients and allergens more visible, giving you a better understanding of what may actually be in a dish. ### More Than Just Translation In addition to translating menus, VikSchewa provides further information about dishes, including ingredients, potential allergens, and dietary information.
