About Wombu
Most clubs run on a group chat, and a group chat is where club information gets lost. The training time is buried under 200 messages, everyone gets every announcement whether it concerns them or not, and nobody knows who is actually coming on Saturday. Wombu replaces that with one place for the things that matter. You split your club into groups (beginners, coaches, the board, juniors) and send each announcement only to the groups it concerns, as a push notification and email. Events have a time, a place and a pin on the map, and members answer in one tap, so you see a list of names instead of counting thumbs. It also covers the rest of the week: votes with a deadline, a shared calendar, membership dues (who has paid and who hasn't), training plans with drawn drills, equipment lending, documents and forms. Members use the iOS or Android app; the people running the club also get a web panel for the computer work. Available in 22 languages. Free for clubs of up to 20 members, and members never pay anything. Built for sports clubs, hiking societies, choirs, volunteer groups, and any group too big for one chat.
