About Acorny

Import, export, sync, review, search, organize with tags, and sync your highlights to Obsidian — all for free. Acorny is a lightweight highlight management and review tool that helps you bring together the ideas you have saved across different reading apps, organize them, and revisit them before they are forgotten. You can import highlights from services and apps such as Readwise, Instapaper, Inoreader, Cubox, Diigo, WeRead, and Moon+ Reader. Acorny also provides automatic synchronization for supported services, flexible import formats, a developer API, and data export, so your highlights are never locked into a single platform. Once imported, your highlights become a searchable personal knowledge library. You can: * Review old highlights regularly instead of letting them disappear into an archive * Search across books, articles, notes, and highlights * Organize content with tags and categories * Filter and browse highlights by source or document * Export your data whenever needed * Sync highlights to Obsidian and integrate them into your existing knowledge-management workflow Acorny focuses on the part that happens after reading: helping you rediscover, remember, and use the knowledge you have already collected. It does not try to replace your preferred reading app. Instead, it works as a central destination for highlights imported from the tools you already use. AI-powered Active Recall generation is also coming soon. Acorny will be able to analyze suitable highlights and automatically turn them into questions and answers, making it easier to test your memory and move from passive rereading to active learning. Acorny is currently free to use. You can import your existing highlight library and start reviewing it without rebuilding everything from scratch. Whether you are a student, researcher, developer, writer, or lifelong learner, Acorny gives you a simple and portable way to manage the knowledge you want to remember.

Solves a real problem for voracious readers and researchers. Consolidating highlights from Readwise, Instapaper, and other services into one searchable library is powerful. The active recall feature adds genuine learning value. Lightweight

The Readwise integration is really useful for syncing highlights across multiple reading apps. Great for keeping scattered notes organized.
