Aiden

Aiden is a physical mobile AI agent device that plugs into any phone or computer via USB and operates it for you — tapping, typing, and navigating real apps the way a person does. The problem: most "AI agents" can think but can't act. They're limited to apps that expose an API or accessibility layer, so the apps you actually use every day stay out of reach. You end up with a very capable chatbot that still makes you do the work. Aiden solves this by working one layer lower. It watches the screen over HDMI and sends input over USB HID — the same channels you use — so it can operate any app you can see and tap. No app to install on the phone, no jailbreak, no developer mode, no API required. How it works: Aiden captures the screen, sends it to an AI model you choose, decides the next action, and performs it — then repeats until the task is done. Voice mode runs on-board with sub-100ms response, wake-word-free. Open and private by design: bring your own model (OpenAI, Anthropic, or a local LLM), with no Aiden backend, no data collection, and a fully self-hostable, open-source setup you can audit. Your screen, voice, and data stay under your control. While the headline-grabbing AI agent phones aren't expected to ship until 2028, Aiden works on the phone you already have — today.
