About Alpha Husky
Alpha Husky is a playable Telegram Mini App RPG on Solana that I’ve been building solo for over 18 months. What started as a small experiment gradually turned into a much larger game world built around progression, persistence and the idea that a project should prove itself through work, not launch-day promises. Players develop their own character, equip and upgrade gear, collect resources, raise and level pets, improve stats, complete missions, explore different areas of the world and interact with multiple connected progression systems. The game also includes factions, team-based encounters, exploration content and an expanding post-collapse setting with its own characters, history and ongoing lore. My current focus is Tactical Ops — a turn-based combat layer built around positioning, target priority, timing and deciding when to attack, guard or use skills before the enemy phase. The system is already playable, but I’m now developing it into a deeper progression loop where the player’s real character, unlocks, squad growth and future combat options matter over time rather than existing as isolated battles. I’m also rebuilding parts of the player journey around one simple goal: make the game easier to understand in the first few minutes without sacrificing the depth that comes later. Alpha Husky is connected to the HOWL ecosystem on Solana, but the philosophy has always been game first. I deliberately avoid pay-to-win design and I don’t want blockchain mechanics to replace gameplay. The token and onchain side exist around the project, while the game itself has to stand on its own. Community is meant to become part of that world too. Players can already interact with systems such as referrals and milestone rewards, and over time I want the people who genuinely stay, contribute and care about the project to have a real influence on parts of its direction. That idea has already gone beyond theory — trusted long-term supporters have been written into Alpha Husky’s history as characters, with the possibility for community-created characters to later appear in the game through lore, NPC roles, quests or other forms. I’m still developing Alpha Husky every week, mostly alone. There is no large studio, growth team or big marketing budget behind it. That makes progress slower, but it also means nearly every system, mechanic and iteration exists because I personally decided it was worth building. The project is already playable, but I don’t consider it finished. Right now I’m looking for more real players who are willing to actually spend time with it and tell me where the experience works, where it becomes confusing, what feels rewarding and where it loses them. The long-term goal is not to create another short-lived crypto game. It is to keep turning Alpha Husky into a persistent RPG world with deeper progression, tactical combat, meaningful player identity and a community that gradually becomes part of its history. Built first. Still building. No reset button. 🐺

Built solo for 18+ months and finally putting Alpha Husky in front of more fresh eyes. If you try it, tell me what works, what confuses you, and what you’d change. 🐺
