Markdown Resume App is a freemium browser-based resume builder designed to help you create professional resumes using plain Markdown text. Instead of dealing with the complex layout grids, font spacing, and margin issues typical of traditional document editors, this tool separates your content from its design. You write your professional details—including education, work experience, skills, and contact information—in standard Markdown formatting on the left side of the screen. As you write, a live preview is automatically updated on the right side of the screen. You can select from more than ten different carefully curated preset layouts that appeal to both human and AI-based resume scanners. The builder is designed to be private and secure. All resume text and settings are stored locally in your browser's memory and are never uploaded to a central database. Because the source content is stored as plain Markdown text, it is highly compatible with artificial intelligence models. You can copy your raw text directly into AI tools to proofread grammar, rewrite bullet points, or check if your resume matches a specific job description.
