Ceres AI assistant with Local AI & Voice

Ceres is an AI assistant that brings writing and coding help right where you already work: inside your browser as an extension for Chrome, Edge and Opera, and inside your editor as an add-on for VS Code and JetBrains. At its core, it is a browser AI assistant. Select any text and Ceres can rewrite it, correct grammar, expand or shorten it, translate it, or summarize a whole page — always using your browser's built-in on-device AI or the model provider you connect yourself, anything from GPT, Claude and Gemini to DeepSeek, Ollama or any OpenAI-compatible API. You can turn the instructions you use often into one-click buttons, and save your preferences so you never repeat yourself. It also works hands-free. Voice commands let you rewrite a selected piece of text or dictate a full prompt by speaking instead of typing, so you can keep your flow without touching the keyboard. When a task needs more than the current page, an agent-style navigation mode can search the internet and your browsing history, while the sidebar chat uses your open tabs, PDFs and chosen local files as context — letting you question a document, compare pages or draft an article and apply suggestions directly on the page. The same assistant follows you into the code editor. In VS Code and JetBrains, it explores your project to find the right context, answers questions and proposes code changes that you review before applying them. It is built around low-cost and locally run models, so it stays light and inexpensive. There is no subscription to Ceres itself — you only pay your own provider.
