Clabrate — your Mac, on speaking terms Hold a key and talk. Let go, and clean text lands at your cursor — in your email, your editor, your browser, anywhere. The speech recognition runs on your Mac. No account, no cloud, no audio going anywhere. That's the first minute of Clabrate. It's not the point. ## The assistant was the point all along Once your Mac can hear you properly, you stop performing for a transcription tool and start handing work to a colleague: - **Say the fix, not the sentence.** Select any paragraph in any app, press a key, and say what's wrong with it — *"shorter, keep the last line"* — and it rewrites in place. You stop re-typing things that were almost right. - **Ask instead of searching.** Press a key and ask — about the error on your screen, the email you selected, or anything in your own notes. Add documents to Knowledge and the assistant answers from them, searched on your Mac. - **Name a place instead of aiming at one.** "Put this window on the left." "Switch to my coding layout." Windows move because you said so. - **Change settings by voice.** Ask for a different writing style and it flips the switch itself. The unusual part: all of this works with no API key and no internet. Clabrate Smart, the on-device model, doesn't just talk — it acts, and every tool it can touch is listed in Settings where you can revoke it with one click. ## Privacy as physics, not policy Your voice is transcribed on your Mac. The models run on your Mac. Your notes are searched on your Mac. **Data that isn't collected can't leak.** The cloud exists here only as a door you open on purpose — bring your own key if you want a bigger brain, and see exactly which tools it's allowed to use. Features arrive as extensions you can inspect, disable, and delete — turn one off and the assistant literally loses the words for it. Try it free.
