About DropReady Media
DropReady Media is a lightweight macOS utility that prepares iPhone photos and videos for email, chat, web forms, and sharing with Windows users. Drop HEIC, HEIF, JPEG, PNG, MOV, MP4, and M4V files into the same window, then choose Smaller, Standard, High Quality, or Near Original. The app converts photos to JPEG or PNG and videos to broadly compatible MP4 files without requiring you to understand codecs or technical settings. Process multiple photos and videos together, review estimated output sizes, resize images, and optionally remove photo metadata such as location information. A result summary shows successful, failed, and cancelled conversions, and unfinished files can be retried without processing everything again. Quick Drop provides a compact floating panel for repeated conversions using a saved preset and output folder. Converted files can be revealed in Finder or shared directly, while the original files remain unchanged. All analysis and conversion take place locally on your Mac. Files are never uploaded to external servers. DropReady Media requires no account and includes no ads, analytics, or tracking. DropReady Media is available as a one-time purchase with no subscription.

Local video processing on Mac is a huge win for privacy-conscious creators. Avoiding cloud uploads for photo and video work means you keep full control over your media files. This is exactly what builders need when handling sensitive client
@omribenshoham Thanks! Keeping photos and videos local during conversion was one of the key ideas behind DropReady Media. Glad that resonated with you.
I built DropReady Media to make the last step of sharing iPhone media easier. Convert photos and videos locally on your Mac with simple presets, batch processing, and Quick Drop.
