About Eternal Flux

Eternal Flux helps you see how your internal ‘filter’ shifts across the day. Watch a short clip from your library, then watch the same clip again later. The app compares your reactions side-by-side and highlights the moments that changed, so you can spot patterns like overload, tension, or flattened reactions. Everything stays on your phone. No uploads. No server How to use Eternal Flux 1. Open the app and pick a short video from your photos (10–30 seconds works best). 2. If it’s your first time, do a one-time neutral face scan. 3. Tap Start and watch the clip. The app tracks your reaction while you watch. 4. Later (after work, at night, or whenever your mood shifts), tap Watch Again and replay the same clip. 5. Check Results to see what changed between viewings and which moments triggered the biggest shift.

Product Insights

Eternal Flux is a mobile analytics and wellness application that utilizes micro-expression tracking to monitor changes in emotional states and focus levels through video interaction. The platform functions as a localized health tool for non-technical users to observe internal shifts without uploading data to external servers.

  • Ensures data security with local mobile processing and zero server uploads.
  • Provides side-by-side emotional reaction comparisons across different times of day.
  • Computes a Focus Index using real-time signals like blink rates and micro-expressions.
  • Offers a personalized pre-work boost feed to increase user motivation via stimulus analysis.

Ideal for: Non-technical users seeking a private way to track emotional tension and focus patterns by interacting with their own video libraries.

New vision

People spend hours watching short clips, and I think that time can be used intentionally. I’m building a mobile app that computes a Focus Index from real-time attention/emotion signals (e.g., micro-expressions, blink rate patterns) while users watch short everyday clips. Over a few minutes, it identifies which stimuli raise or lower focus and then personalizes a “pre-work boost” feed that increases focus and motivation in ~3 minutes.
