Tech stack changes and infrastructure replacement
Hey everyone! While I was thinking to optimize the app so it works better across the globe I found CloudFlare Workers as a meaningful solution, so I started working at migrating the app to it from the VPS I was using. After doing some research I also realized that if I wanted the best performance on the new infrastructure, I'd probably be better off leaving Next.JS and going for something with better CloudFlare Workers support, so I went for TanStack Start, with Hono an tRPC for the backend. This showed significant improvements over OpenNext, especially on cold starts, so it was definitely worth the work. There should be close to no changes from what the app was previously visually and functionally, but there might me slight issues here and there which I encourage anyone to report at our e-mail ([email protected]). Performance improvements, better onboarding and more
I've done a couple rounds of tweaks and improvements and the app is now faster, friendlier with users in their first time experience, and we've optimized/added color schemes so we get better fits with the templates. Looking forward for your feedback!

Nice approach, a resume builder without subscriptions or unnecessary extras makes this feel a lot more practical for students, freelancers, and job seekers.
