Fleuves : What if a social network showed the journey, not just the achievement? Most social platforms show us the destination. “I got the job.” “I launched my company.” “I lost 20kg.” “I graduated.” “I ran my first marathon.” But we rarely see what happened before that. The failed attempts. The months where nothing seemed to move. The doubts. The people who helped. The change of direction. The moment someone almost gave up. I'm building Fleuves, an experimental social platform around a different idea: What if we documented our dreams as journeys instead of posts? A dream becomes a river. As you work toward it, you document its evolution: milestones, thoughts, setbacks, lessons and changes of direction. Other people's rivers can cross yours. Someone learning programming could meet others following a similar path. Someone building their first company could discover the journey of someone further downstream. Some journeys could even become shared ones. But there's an important challenge I'm trying to solve: Authenticity requires privacy. If people are going to document failures, doubts and vulnerable moments, they need to know exactly what stays private, what gets shared, and with whom. So Fleuves isn't meant to make everything public. You should be able to document something for yourself, reflect on it, and decide whether you want to share all of it, part of it, or nothing at all. The project is still early. I'm deliberately starting with a web MVP before considering native mobile apps because right now I'm trying to validate the idea rather than scale it. And that's why I'm sharing it here. I'm less interested in hearing “cool idea” than finding out where the idea breaks. Would you actually document a long-term dream this way? And if not what would stop you?

Dream and journal tracking in one place is the feature I would open, not another mood tracker. I would want the journal prompt to stay optional so it does not feel like homework.
