About Galey

I started looking into app network traffic out of curiosity and was surprised by how much is happening behind the scenes — even simple apps making hundreds of thousands of requests. The problem is that most of this data is impossible to understand without digging through raw logs. So I’m building Galey to surface every connection and use AI to explain what’s actually going on in a way that’s easy to understand. The goal is to make hidden network behavior visible and understandable, especially for non-technical users. Still early — looking for feedback from anyone interested in privacy, security, or just understanding what their apps are doing.

Product Insights

Galey provides network transparency by converting complex application traffic logs into plain language through AI analysis. It serves as a monitoring tool for users interested in identifying hidden app behaviors and security risks without technical expertise.

  • Translates raw network logs into understandable AI-generated explanations.
  • Identifies high-frequency background requests that typically go unnoticed.
  • Bridges the gap between complex network data and non-technical user comprehension.
  • Available via a subscription model for ongoing privacy and security monitoring.

Ideal for: Non-technical users, indie hackers, and educators who need to monitor app network behavior and understand hidden data connections without manual log analysis.

Seeing what apps are actually doing on your network, explained in plain language, is something most people never have visibility into. Making network traffic understandable for non-technical users is genuinely useful.
