About Headroom
Headroom plays the music you own, including MP3 and FLAC up to 24-bit hi-res, and shows it the way a studio would: on instruments. Six visualizations include stereo segment VU meters, spring-physics analog needles, a dot-matrix equalizer, a CRT spectrum, a phosphor goniometer, and a soundstage radar that follows AirPods head tracking. Tap any board for a full-screen focus mode. Crates lets you flip through your library like a record crate, sorting by album, artist, or recent additions, with a plain track list and search available. The transport includes a waveform scrub bar, a tape counter, and a volume knob that tracks iPhone hardware buttons. Meters auto-calibrate to each track's loudness. Import files or folders from iCloud Drive or Files, play directly from USB-C drives, and edit ID3 and FLAC tags and covers with review before changes apply. Playback works in the background, on the lock screen, and over AirPlay and Bluetooth.
