About Hjarni

About Hjarni Hjarni is a shared knowledge base for ChatGPT and Claude. Save your notes, research, preferences, and project decisions in one place. Connect your AI assistant so it can search, read, and update that knowledge as you work. Your notes become long-term memory you can inspect, edit, and take with you when you switch AI tools. Stop re-explaining your work Built-in AI memory can help with preferences and past conversations. Hjarni gives your assistants access to the actual notes you choose to keep: your project’s architecture, your writing guidelines, your research, or your team’s decisions. Ask ChatGPT to save a decision today. Ask Claude to look it up tomorrow. Both work from the same knowledge base. How it works Save some context. Write a note, import Markdown files, or ask your connected assistant to save something useful. Connect your AI. Hjarni is available in the ChatGPT Apps Directory and Claude Connectors Directory. Sign in to connect your account. Use and maintain your knowledge. Ask your assistant to search your notes before answering and update existing notes when something changes. Hjarni uses MCP (Model Context Protocol) to give compatible assistants access to your knowledge. Its server is hosted, so there is no local server to install or keep running. What makes it different One knowledge base across assistants. Reuse your context in ChatGPT, Claude, and other compatible MCP clients. Memory you can read and edit. Your knowledge lives in Markdown notes, with version history to review changes. Instructions for each folder. Give your assistant guidance for different projects, writing styles, or research workflows. Shared knowledge for teams. Keep decisions, runbooks, and project context available to teammates and their assistants. Your notes stay portable. Export your knowledge as Markdown whenever you want. Who it’s for Developers keep architecture decisions, conventions, and debugging notes available across coding sessions. Researchers organize literature notes, findings, and open questions their assistant can search and compare. Writers maintain style guides, research, and project notes across long writing projects. Founders and teams share company context, customer insights, and decisions without repeatedly pasting them into chats. Everyday AI users keep preferences, plans, and useful information accessible across their assistants. Pricing Free: 25 notes with full MCP and API access. No credit card required. Pro: €11/month for unlimited notes and expanded file capacity. Teams: €18 per seat/month for shared knowledge and member management. See hjarni.com/pricing for current plans and details.

Built Hjarni because I got tired of re-explaining my projects to Claude every single conversation. Now my AI just reads my notes. Happy to answer any questions!
